Lois Mathy

Lois Fern Culver Mathy, 89, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 15, 2011, at Lily Home Assisted Living Center. She was born November 1, 1921, in Nebraska to Lewis Lee Culver and Zelma Townsend Culver. She grew up and attended schools in the area. On November 1, 1938, she married Lawrence Mathy in Idaho Falls. She was a mother and homemaker. Lois enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her family. Survivors are: Daughter: Vicky (Richard) Bergeman, Patterson, ID Sister: Mavis Woodruff, Idaho Falls, ID 5 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, and 5 Great Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Warren Mathy; and 2 daughters, Patsy Mathy and Joyce Mathy. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2011, at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Friday from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge).
