Lois (Lambert) Bise

Lois Delia Lambert Bise, our beautiful, kind, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother, returned to her heavenly home on August 22, 2025.

Lois was born in Kearney, Nebraska on June 4, 1936, to George and Cecelia Lambert. She had 13 siblings. She graduated from Kearney High School in Kearney, Nebraska.

Lois married Glen Bise on April 4, 1956, in Astin, Washington, and they were married for 64 years.

Lois embodied unconditional love, warmly embracing everyone without judgment. She was a shining example of kindness, making each person feel valued and supported, a true treasure who welcomed all with open arms, instantly making them feel like family.

Her passion for animals was truly inspiring, Her eyes would sparkle with delight anytime someone came by with a new fur baby to introduce to her. Her animals were treated like cherished family members, and they never went without a treat or two.

First and foremost, her most vital role was being a devoted mother, inspiring nine kids to reach their full potential and proudly witnessing them all graduate high school, while also working for Davis School District, and the Utah State Tax Commission, and exemplifying the true meaning of kindness and hard work in every aspect of her life.

She was incredibly proud of her grandkids, and they adored her immensely, inspiring some of them to encourage her to experience life’s thrilling adventures, and remarkably, she even went white water rafting for her 88th birthday with 18 family members. Her eyes would light up anytime the grandkids visited, and they could always count on granny/granny great to have delightful treats available, whether that was cookies, candy or apples.

She loved nature and all the beauty that came with it. She enjoyed trips to the bird refuge, and trips to the mountains for leaf peeping with her pumpkin spice chai in hand.

This is but a small part of who Lois was and we could go on and on about what a wonderful kind person she was.

She is survived by her 9 children, Roy, Glenda (Ken), Patti (Wes), Dale (Becky), Dennis (Kathryn), Lori (Craig), Karen (Steve), Kathy (Shawn) and Cecelia. Along with, 34 grandchildren, and 60+ great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She is also survived by her brother, George Lundgren (Lexi); and her faithful dog, Harnold (Harley).

Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Bise; her grandson, Jordyn Bise; and her 12 siblings.

A gathering will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Lois was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, and a service will be held at a later date.

To say that Lois loved and is loved is an understatement.

“Love ya pud” thanks for all the grilled cheese.”
