Lois Anne Baker, 80, of Ammon, passed away peacefully at her home Thursday, November 15, 2012, surrounded by her family.
Lois was born February 10, 1932, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, the daughter of Adam Rennie and Viva Rasband Rennie. She graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1951. She attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, for one year. She then worked at Leymaster Jewelry in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Lois married Wendell M. Baker in the Logan LDS Temple on September 10, 1953. They are the parents of four children:
Son: Larry Baker (Chris) of Salem, Oregon;
Son: James Baker of Idaho Falls, Idaho;
Son: Steven Baker (Brenda) of Kaysville, Utah;
Daughter: Carol Christensen (John) of West Jordan, Utah.
She is survived by her husband, four children, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her twin sister Lillian, two brothers, Melvin Rennie and Owen Rennie, and two sisters Jean Wakeman and Isobel Stringham.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday, November 17, 2012, at the Ammon LDS 18th Ward, 4363 East 17th Street. The family will meet with friends at Wood East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, on Friday from 6:30 to 8:00 pm., and at the church on Saturday from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. Burial will be at the Rose Hill Cemetery.
