LOEDA ANSELMO IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Loeda M. Harris Anselmo, 80, of Idaho Falls, died April 7, 2006, at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls. She was born June 10, 1925, in Shelley, Idaho, to Arnold Oscar Harris (Sulphur, IN) and Mary Margaret Fowler Harris (Escalante, UT). She attended schools in Blackfoot and Coltman and graduated from Ucon High School on May 13, 1943. She grew up living and working on a farm in the Ucon area. She moved to Pocatello, Idaho, and met her future husband while working at the Delite Bakery during World War II. After the war she married Alfredo Albert Anselmo August 23, 1946. Al and Loeda were later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple February 15, 1964. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and a well-known cook and homemaker in the Lincoln/Bonneville School District. She served in various positions, including Primary President, Young Women President and as a Den Mother. With her husband, she served a four-year temple mission and then served as a temple officiator. She enjoyed collecting and restoring dolls, sewing, handicrafts and family activities. She is survived by: Husband: Alfredo Anselmo, Idaho Falls, ID; Daughter: Sandy (John) Morris, Idaho Falls; Son: Rick (Kim) Anselmo, Idaho Falls; Son: Brad f Anselmo, Nampa, ID; Daughter: Debra K. Nelson, Idaho Falls, ID; Daughter: Lori S. Anselmo, Idaho Falls; 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one brother. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. April 11, 2006, at the Idaho Falls LDS Lincoln 2nd Ward, 3700 East Lincoln Road, with Bishop Jack Scott officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday from 7-8 p.m. at Wood East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road, and Tuesday for one hour prior to services at the church.
