LOAH E. McLANE IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Loah Ergene McLane, 80, formerly of Rigby, died September 6, 2004 in Clearwater Valley Hospital in Orofino, Idaho. She was born November 9, 1923 in Norwood, Colorado, to Donley Vaughn Small and Ida Mae (Haley) Dawes Small. The family moved to California where she attended schools. She married Ray Stanley McLane on August 13, 1951 in Virginia City, Nevada. He died on January 18, 1998. She was a mother and a homemaker and raised their 4 children. She was an active member of the Southern Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, crossword puzzles, videos, and fishing. Surviving are: Son: Charles Donley Ostrander, Orofino,ID; Son: Roger Dale (Patricia) Ostrander, Beaverton, OR; Daughter: Ida Marie (Lavern) Laughlin, Twin Falls, ID; Daughter: Beverly Ellen(Ted) Smith, Rigby, ID; 15 Grandchildren, 50 Great Grandchildren, 14 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother, four sisters and a granddaughter. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 10, 2004 at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge Ave.,). The family will visit with friends on Thursday 7-8:30 p.m. and for one hour prior to the services both at the funeral home. Burial will be at Annis-Little Butte Cemetery.
