Lloyd "Skid" H. Woodbridge, 94, of Idaho Falls, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014, at Teton Post Acute Care.
Lloyd was born December 17, 1919, in Arco, Idaho, to Roy E. Woodbridge and Violet L. Woodbridge. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho, and graduated from Arco High School. Lloyd served in the United States Navy, and served in World War II.
He married Velma Cherry. To this union was born a daughter, Sharon. Lloyd and Velma made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Lloyd worked as a Superintendent for Detwiler. He also worked for Luce & Son as a warehouse manager. He enjoyed construction work, and was a hard worker.
He was a Mason, and a member of the Elk’s Lodge. He loved to gamble.
Lloyd is survived by his
granddaughter, Tristesse (Tris) Bare of Eagle Mountain, UT;
grandson, Chet Anthony Janning of Idaho Falls, ID.
3 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy E. Woodbridge; mother, Violet L. Blattner; loving wife, Velma Woodbridge; daughter, Sharon Kay Janning.
