Lloyd Mori

Click Here To View Memorial Video Lloyd Mori, 96, of Idaho Falls, passed away on November 5, 2013, at his home. He was born August 2, 1917, in Gardena, California to Ezo Mori. He grew up and attended schools in the area, eventually graduating from Huntington High School. When the war started he was sent to the Poston, Arizona internment camp until 1945. On April 6, 1945, he married Helen Yoshiko Ogata in Las Vegas, Nevada. They moved to Idaho Falls, making it their permanent residence. She preceded him in death on April 11, 2007. He was a Ford automotive mechanic and worked for Hansen Allen Mercury Ford, Bonneville Auto, and Stoddard Ford. He also worked at Cooks Farm before and after his retirement. Lloyd enjoyed fishing, hunting, rock hunting, and tinkering on anything mechanical. Survivors are: Daughter: Sally Ann (Keiji) Hayashida, Rosemead, CA Son: David Lloyd Mori, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Stephen Wayne (Nancy) Mori, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: John Mori, Monterey Park, CA Brother: Eddie (Myrna) Mori, Apple Valley, CA Brother: Henry Mori, Hope, AK Sister: Miyo Yatsui, Mission Viejo, CA 8 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild He was preceded in death by his wife. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) in Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
