Lloyd Hoffer

Lloyd Hoffer, 85, of Ammon, passed away January 30, 2026, at his home. He was under the care of his loving family and Solace Hospice.

Lloyd was born March 6, 1940, in Aberdeen, Idaho, to Lloyd Ludwig Hoffer and Helen Elaine Jones Hoffer. He served in the United States Army.

Lloyd is survived by his wife, Marilyn Hoffer of Ammon, ID; son, Bradley (Patsy) Hoffer of West Haven, UT; son, Nolan (Monica) Hoffer of Meridian, ID; daughter, Deena Surerus of Idaho Falls; brother, Terrence (Carolyn) Hoffer of CA; brother, Dallas (Sandy) Hoffer of Idaho Falls; sister, Marsha (Merle, deceased) Friesen of American Falls, ID; sister, Sandra (Russ) Knapp of Boise, ID; brother, Randall (Galeyna) Hoffer of Boise, ID; sister-in-law, Laura Hoffer of Aberdeen, ID; 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Gary Alan Hoffer; brother, Brent Laray Hoffer; grandson, Jared Hoffer; and great granddaughter, Elle Hoffer.
