Ellen Linetta Gardner Forman, 86, of Idaho Falls, passed away on October 3, 2012, at Peak Village Assisted Living Center. She was under the care of Solace Hospice.
Linetta was born January 28, 1926, in Ammon, Idaho to LeVor Gardner and Mima Lucille Oglesby Gardner. She grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from Ammon High School.
On November 24, 1944, she married Lynn Albert Forman in Dillon, Montana. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on May 28, 1954. He preceded her in death on May 15, 2009. Linetta was a mother and homemaker and also worked as a beautician. She played both the piano and harmonica.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Linetta enjoyed knitting, crocheting, crafts, scratch art, golfing, camping, motorcycles, snow skiing, and water skiing.

13 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, grandparents, 2 sisters, 5 brothers, 1 grandson, and 1 granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at the Idaho Falls LDS 28th Ward, 1165 Azalea Drive, with Kerry Powell, 1st Counselor in the Bishopric, officiating. The family will visit with friends on Monday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, and on Tuesday from 1-1:45 p.m. prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
