Linda Vandekamp

Linda Ann VandeKamp, 60, passed away April 24, 2013, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of injuries sustained in a car accident. Linda was born July 27, 1952, in Fullerton, California, to Utah Carl Ware and Elizabeth Jane (Fuller) Ware. She attended Commonwealth Elementary and Ladera Vista Middle School and graduated from Troy High School in Fullerton. She lived in Fullerton, Riverside, and Nuevo, California, before moving to Idaho Falls in 1994. Linda married Brad Douglas VandeKamp June 22, 1996, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She worked in customer service at convenience stores and Walmart. She worked for School District 91 as a cook in the lunch room at many local schools. Linda was passionate about quilting and was a member of the Snake River Valley Quilt Guild. She enjoyed her family, travel, attending family reunions, quilting, shopping, and warm climates. Linda is survived by her loving husband of over 16 years, Brad; Son, Jason Hesser of Idaho Falls; Son, Kevin Hesser of Idaho Falls; Daughter, Melissa Hesser of Salt Lake City, Utah; Grandson, Bridger of Idaho Falls; Brother Dr. Carl (Kim) Ware of Solana Beach, CA; and Debbie Ware of Idaho Falls, ID. She was preceded in death by her parents and a former husband. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 11th at 2:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, Idaho Falls.
