Linda Snarr

Linda Lee Snarr, 76, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 24, 2018, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her family. She was under the care of Aspen Home Health and Hospice. Linda was born January 14, 1942, in Monrovia, CA, to Arthur Wallace Jones and Sylvia Reeves Jones. She graduated from Monrovia High School and attended college in California, Hawaii and Utah. She married Robert Barton Snarr on February 16, 1963 in Monrovia, CA. To this union were born five children, Bart, Mike, Eric, Dayna and Melissa. Linda and Robert made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Linda worked as a administrator for the INL. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed everything family, cooking, gardening, event planning and catering. Linda is survived by her son, Bart (Angie) Snarr of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Mike Snarr of Ammon, ID; son, Eric (Michelle) Snarr of Rupert, ID; daughter, Dayna (Mike) Langford of Boise, ID; daughter, Melissa (Wayne) Roberts of Idaho Falls, ID; and twenty-two grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Sylvia; husband, Robert Barton Snarr; daughters-in-law, Sallesa and Karen; and many other cherished and loved family members. Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 29, 2018, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue in Idaho Falls, with Bishop Jeff Clifford, presiding and Dave Kuhn, officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 am to 10:45 am prior to the funeral services. Burial will be in the Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
