Linda Joy Robinson, 75, of Blackfoot, passed away September 20, 2025, at Madison Memorial Hospital.
Linda was born August 25, 1950, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Larry Kent Rockwood and Venna Merle Gifford Rockwood. She grew up in Iona, Idaho, and attended schools there before graduating from Bonneville High School.
On November 2, 1968, she married Ashley Jon Robinson in the Idaho Falls Temple. Linda and Jon built a life together in Moreland, where she worked for many years as a dedicated school cook, loving wife, and mother.
She was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Linda loved spending time outdoors and enjoyed fishing, water skiing, camping, and anything to do with water. Her greatest joy came from time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
Linda was well known for her ability to always remember everyone’s birthdays, anniversaries, and any special events. She didn’t let one slip by without sending a card.
Linda is survived by her husband, Jon Robinson of Blackfoot, ID; children, Anthony “Tony” Jon Robinson of Swan Valley, ID, Rock E (Korrina) Robinson of Ogden, UT, and Lori M. Tawzer of Iona, ID; siblings, Kent (Shellie) Rockwood of Iona, ID, Doug (Ann) Rockwood of Iona, ID, and Sandy Osburn of Elk Ridge, UT; 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Larry Jay Robinson; daughter-in-law, Michelle Rae Robinson; and grandson-in-law, Erin Rees.
