Linda Redford

Linda Redford, 65, of Ammon, passed away January 18, 2026, at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls.

Linda was born January 27, 1960, in Brigham City, UT, to Dean Franklin Redford and Barbara Burnett Redford. She grew up and attended schools in Brigham City, UT and Idaho Falls, ID. She graduated from Skyline High School, Idaho Falls, in 1978, Ricks College (AA) 1980, Brigham Young University (BA) 1984, and University of Phoenix (MS) 2000.

Linda served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Spain Barcelona mission 1982-1983

Linda made her home in Ammon, ID where she worked as a software project manager at the INL.

She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed crafting, baking, collecting, music, and family. She especially loved her nieces and nephews. She was awarded many vocal solo parts because of her beautiful soprano voice including soloist with Rick's college choirs performances of the Messiah.

Linda is survived by her siblings, Virginia Christensen (Fred) of Meridian, ID, Trina Chambers (Todd) of Highlands Ranch, CO, Jill Neeley (Mark) of Kennewick, WA, Roger Redford (Dawn) of Ammon ID, and John Redford (Brenda) of Ammon, ID.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dean and Barbara Redford; and her sister, Deanna Simpson (Wayne).

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Ammon 23rd Ward, 4030 John Adams, with Bishop Justin Bell officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to American Diabetes Association.
