Linda Paul

Linda Darlene Paul, 60, of Idaho Falls, Idaho passed away Saturday, August 7, 2010 at St. Luke’s Meridian Medical Center in Meridian, ID. She was surrounded by her loving husband Steve, and her three children, Ryan, Deena, Matt, and her son-in-law, Rodney. Linda was born December 8, 1949 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Jerry R. and Nadine Frasure Dyer. She grew up in Blackfoot and graduated from Blackfoot High School. In 1969, Linda met Steve Paul, the love of her life. Linda and Steve couldn’t stay away from each other after they met and were married three months later, just so they could get some sleep. They would have celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary next month. Linda’s three children gave her eight beautiful grandchildren: Mya, Rylynn, Maele, Jordan, Carter, Cody, Carson, and Addison. Linda loved having her grandchildren around and they loved spending the night with grandma. The kids always wanted grandma to play the Wii with them or color with them. Linda loved to read. Every night before bed, she always had to read a chapter out of one of her many books. She also loved to cook for her family and she never knew how to cook for just two – she always cooked enough for an army of people. Linda is survived by her husband, Steven D. Paul, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Ryan Paul, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Deena (Rodney) McArthur, Middleton, ID Son: Matthew D. Paul, Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Leila (Brad)Smith Grace, ID Brother: Jack Dyer, Idaho Falls, ID Her 8 Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Nadine Dyer. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services, both visitations at Wood’s. Burial will be in the Blackfoot-Grove City Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
