Linda Park

Linda Park, 61, of Ammon, passed away March 27, 2013, at her home. She was under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho. She was born August 1, 1952, in St. Anthony, Idaho, to Keith Leonard Parkinson and Darlene Johnson Parkinson. She graduated from Sugar-Salem High School and attended Ricks College. She married Blair H. Park June 6, 1971, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They made their home and raised their family in Idaho Falls. She enjoyed being with her family and grandchildren, they were the light of her life. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved serving in various church callings and enjoyed music and singing. Linda was an excellent cook. Linda is survived by her husband, Blair of Idaho Falls, ID; Son, Chris (Jennifer) Park of Idaho Falls, ID; Father, Keith (Joann) Parkinson of Plano, ID; Brother, Dennis Parkinson of Phoenix, AZ; Brother, Bill (Donna) Parkinson of Blackfoot, ID; Sister, Loretta (Joel) Jorgensen of Portland, OR. 3 Grandchildren and 1 great grandchild She was preceded in death by her mother Darlene and a daughter, Leah Park. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013, at the Ammon LDS 10th Ward, 4375 E. Sunnyside Road, with Bishop Wes Wood officiating. The family will visit with friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Wood East Side and and from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
