Linda "Sue" Moody, 71, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 7, 2017, at Intermountain Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Sue was born September 21, 1946, in Kingman, Kansas, to John Reynolds and Beatrice Marie Harper Reynolds. Her childhood years were spent in Pratt, and later, Ottawa, Kansas, where she graduated from Ottawa High School. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas. On August 30, 1964, she married Harry James Moody in Ottawa, Kansas. To this union were born two children, Cheryl and Steven. Sue and Harry made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Sue worked as a children's librarian. She attended St. Paul's Methodist Church in Idaho Falls. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, baking and reading. Sue also enjoyed traveling, visiting new places as well as seeing her grandchildren. Sue is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Harry Moody of Idaho Falls; daughter, Cheryl (Joe) Bartel of Carlsbad, CA; son, Steven John (Melanie) Moody of Idaho Falls; four grandchildren; brother, Roger (Sylvia) Reynolds of Atchison, KS; brother, Bruce (Susie) Reynolds of St. Joseph, MO; and sister, Becky Reynolds of Atchison, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Beatrice Reynolds of Ottawa, KS. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 11, 2017, at St. Paul's Methodist Church, 1730 Saint Clair Road, with Nancy Amos officiating. A private family burial will be held in the Ammon Cemetery. As an alternative to flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Dogs4Diabetics.com.
