McAtee - 11/02/2002 LINDA McATEE IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Linda Renae McAtee, 54, of Idaho Falls, died November 1, 2002, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center from an apparent heart attack. She was born September 12, 1948 in Elkhart, Indiana to Darrell Lewis Dimos and Gladys LoreenAmes Dimos. She grew up and attended schools in Rigby. She married William Phillips to which union two sons were born. They were later divorced. She hasbeen with Rick McAtee since 1977. Throughout her life she has also lived in Connecticut, Alaskaand Hawaii. She has worked at Valley Care Nursing Center and has also provided home nursing care. She hada love for everyone she met and was loved by her husband, family and friends; she also loved flowers,and enjoyed driving stock cars, collecting niknaks and old photos. She was a very special person andwill be greatly missed by all who knew her. Surviving are:Husband: Richard Frank McAtee, Idaho Falls, IDSon: Kenneth Wayne (Kim) Phillips, Idaho Falls, IDSon: Kevin Charles (Kathy) Phillips, Maui, HAFather: Darrell (Darlene) Dimos, Rigby, IDBrother: Rick (Carrie) Dimos, Ririe, IDSister: Sheila (Tom) Billig, Rigby, IDSister: Susan (Cathy) Dimos, Castro Valley, CASister: Marelene (Robert) Larson, Rigby, IDSister: Charelene (Terry) Hendricks, Rigby, Id6 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild.She was preceded in death by her mother and a sister, Bonnie Ward. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2002, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines, 273 North Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to services at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
