Linda "Lynn" Claire Connors

Lynn passed away peacefully from complications of bone marrow cancer on October 14, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Linda "Lynn" Claire Connors was born on June 13, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois, to Claire Marie Meger McKee and Kenneth Charles McKee. When Lynn was still little, her family moved first to Las Vegas and then settled in Spring Valley, California, where she grew up with her sister, Bonnie, and brother, Bob.

While living there, the family was introduced to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. From that time on, Lynn's faith became a guiding light in her life—something she held close through every chapter and challenge that followed.

Lynn attended Avondale and Spring Valley Elementary Schools, Spring Valley Junior High, and later, Mount Miguel Senior High School. She was a proud member of the drill team and marched in the Tournament of Roses Parade many times—a rare honor her team earned through hard work and excellence. Lynn also had a beautiful soprano voice and a deep love of music, which led her to sing in the school choir. Though she later attended Southwest College part-time, she always believed that her true education came from life itself and the people she met along the way.

Through church, Lynn met Keith Lisonbee, and at the young age of 19, they married in 1972. Together, they welcomed four children—Kara, Kevin, Krista, and Kandi. After their divorce, Lynn found love again and married Cliff Connors in 1980. Their son, Kameron, completed the family two years later, and together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and plenty of adventure.

Over the years, Lynn and her family lived in Spring Valley, El Cajon, and Santee, California, before relocating to Orem, Utah, in 1985. While Cliff attended graduate school, Lynn went to work to support her family. After becoming a top-five finalist, she was heartbroken when she was not hired as a 911 operator, but she grudgingly accepted a job at WordPerfect—a blessing in disguise. Her intelligence, quick wit, and determination soon shone through, and she became a senior support operator in just a few months. She helped others solve tough problems and was moved to the development department. She played an important role in connecting WordPerfect software with the early HP laser printers.

When Cliff finished school, the family moved to Orange, California, where Lynn continued to thrive in software development. Despite not having a formal degree, her coworkers always assumed she did—because she carried herself with confidence, competence, and humility. She was known for her honesty, her problem-solving skills, and her wonderful sense of humor. She liked to laugh, saying she "got paid to find fault with everything," but what she really did was make things better—for her team, her company, and everyone around her.

One of Lynn's greatest joys was looking forward to travel. She purchased a WorldMark timeshare ownership and became active in an owners' group, eventually becoming the president. She worked tirelessly to improve the quality of the timeshare experience for herself and others. With her experience in computers, she was a natural as a website moderator to help other owners. Using her expertise in timeshare ownership, she took many vacations after her children were grown. She had a special love for Hawaii and the Oregon Coast. Her timeshare acquaintances from several countries have become close friends, despite the distances involved.

Lynn retired in 2011 after a long and successful career. In 2019, she and Cliff fulfilled a lifelong dream by moving to Rigby, Idaho—"the promised land" as they liked to call it. Lynn quickly found her place there, making friends easily and serving faithfully in many church callings. Whether she was directing roadshows, organizing activities, teaching, or helping with the Relief Society newsletter and ward bulletin, she gave her all with love and laughter. She even served as an emergency communications assistant and radio operator, always eager to be useful in any way she could.

She will be remembered for her bright smile, her quick humor, her endless creativity, and her unwavering faith. She had a way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and loved. Lynn's life was one of quiet strength and deep devotion—to her family, her faith, and her community. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on in her children, grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know her.

Lynn is survived by her devoted husband, Cliff; her children, Kara, Kevin, Krista, Kandi, and Kameron; her sister, Bonnie; and brother, Bob; as well as her cherished grandchildren, two great grandchildren; and many dear friends who became like family.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5 North 3900 East, in Rigby, Idaho, where family and friends will gather to celebrate her beautiful life and the love she shared so freely. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Rigby-Pioneer Cemetery.
