Linda Butler

Linda Keith Gerard Butler, 72, passed away July 1, 2016, in Idaho Falls, Idaho from complications associated with Acute Post Polio Syndrome.

Linda was born January 28, 1944 in Dillon Montana, the first of three children born to Willard Richard (Mack) Gerard and Shirley Maria Sauer Gerard.

At 8 years of age, Linda contracted 2 types of polio which left her with the lifelong determination to overcome any obstacle that by-god got in her way.

Linda married Glifford Eugene (Gene) Butler in 1974. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and was very proud of the fact she was able to be sealed to Gene for time and all eternity recently.

Although Linda's health was severely diminished the past few years, she was able to remain in her home due to the care and friendship of Paula Heindel

Linda was preceded in death by her husband and parents. She is survived by her sister Penny (Ben) Ysursa and brother Kevin (Betty Ann) Gerard, 2 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 8, 2016, at Fielding Memorial Park.
