Linda Fay Hansen Brower, 69, of Idaho Falls, passed away on August 4, 2018, at Tambree Meadows Assisted Living Center. She was born March 26, 1949, in Driggs, Idaho to Floyd Newell Hansen and Lois Arlain Douglass Hansen. She grew up in the area and attended Tetonia Elementary, Teton High School and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. She attended Idaho State University where she took Home Economic courses. She also received a Certified Nursing Aid license. On August 27, 1965, she married Tharon Richard Brower in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. To this union were born four children: Angela, Greg, Dee, and Jill. Linda and Tharon made their home in Idaho Falls where Linda was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She also worked as a CNA. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in numerous callings and especially loved working with the scouts, in the nursery, and as a visiting teacher. Linda enjoyed sewing, crafts, knitting, and crocheting. She also enjoyed oil painting, gourmet cooking, and loved camping, fishing, being in the mountains, and attending rendezvous. She especially adored her kids and grandkids and spending time with them. She is survived by herloving husband of 52 years, Tharon Brower of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Angela (Jeffrey) Bohi of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Greg (Monique) Brower of Pocatello, ID; son, Dee Brower of Colorado Springs, CO; daughter, Jill (Paul) Illum of Brigham City, UT; brother, Bob (LaNae) Hansen of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Eugene (Branka) Hansen of Idaho Falls, ID; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Carma Collins; and a great grandson, Billy Brower. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 9, 2018, at the Idaho Falls LDS Rose Park Ward (1165 Azalea Drive) with Bro. Peter Schuelke officiating. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 6:30-8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) and on Thursday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Cache-Clawson Cemetery in Tetonia, Idaho.
