Barry, 59, of Idaho Falls, died July 9, 2002, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of complications from surgery. She was born June 10, 1943 in Riverside, California to Larry W. Lassiter and Edith Eleese Heeren Lassiter. She attended schools through High School in San Bernardino, California. She married Joel Royce Barry June 27, 1962 in Rialto, California and they spent most of their lives in Idaho Falls. She was a homemaker and also worked in sewing machine sales. Her husband preceded her in death November 19, 1987. She loved her grandchildren, her cats and enjoyed sewing and camping. Surviving are:Son: Joel Scott (Jana) Barry, Elkridge, UTDaughter: Traci Humphries, Idaho FallsDaughter: Kim (Gene) Summers, Idaho FallsMother: Edith Eleese Heeren, San Bernardino, CASister: Marsha Graham, Hereford, AZ15 Grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her father and husband. Funeral Services will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 13, 2002, at Wood Chapel of the Pines, with Tom Larsen officiating. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to services at Wood Funeral Home on Saturday.
