Lillian Louise Parker, 91, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 1, 2016, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Lillian was born March 27, 1925, in San Fernando, California, to Augustus Vernon Rios and Odessa Todd Rios. She grew up and attended schools in southern California and graduated from San Fernando High School.
In 1944, she married Robert "Bobby" Parker in New York City, New York. To this union were born two sons, Michael and Dennis. Lillian and Robert made their home in California, mostly Los Angeles and Carpinteria, where Lillian worked for Bell Telephone. After retirement she moved to Sun City, Arizona and has lived in Idaho Falls for the past year.
She was an aspiring actress and model in her youth. She enjoyed the beach, family, holidays, and travel, especially to Hawaii. She was well-informed in current events.
Lillian is survived by her son, Michael (MaryLee) Parker of San Diego, CA; son, Dennis (Jodi) Parker of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Vernon "Bud" Rios of Mokelumne, CA; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister-in-law, Corrine Rios.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
