Glenn Hudson

Leslie Glenn Hudson, 88, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 19, 2026, at his home. He was under the care of Aspen Home Health and Hospice and Clover Caregivers.

Glenn was born August 30, 1937, in Everett, WA, to Leroy Gifford Hudson and Lillian Luella Phelps Hudson. He grew up and attended schools in Everett, WA and graduated from Everett High School. He also attended Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, OR. He also enrolled in the United States Army and rose to rank of Staff Sargent.

On June 28, 1958, he married Linda Alice Phillips in Everett, WA. Their marriage was later solemnized on July 23, 1970, in the Cardston Alberta Temple. Glenn and Linda spent their lives moving the family throughout the western states as Glenn supervised the building of many bridges and dams. He oversaw the crew that constructed the Scoggins Dam in Forest Grove, OR and the Pasco-Kennewick Bridge in Tri Cities, WA. They later retired to Iona, ID in 2003.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed traveling in his motor home with his wife, working on cars, wood working, and playing pinochle. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren and his dogs.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Linda Hudson of Idaho Falls, ID; daughters, Jana Jo (Duane) Fugleberg of Idaho Falls, ID, Zina Kay (John) Stice of Idaho Falls, ID, Ariana Sue (Reuben) Bell of Kaysville, UT; brother, Lorry George (Judy) Hudson of Meridian, ID; 18 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy Hudson, Sr. and Lillian Hudson; brothers, Leroy Gifford Hudson, Jr., Lamar Gordon Hudson, Loren Golden Hudson, Leonard Grant Hudson, Lewis Gailen Hudson; son, Gordon Linn Hudson; granddaughter, Hailey Michelle Fugleberg; and grandson, Nicholas Scott Fugleberg.

Services will be held 5 p.m. Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends from 4-4:45 p.m. prior to services. Military Honors will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and Idaho Honor Guard.
