LeROY EKISS
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- LeRoy George Ekiss, 72, of Chubbuck, died February 27, 2007, at the Veterans Home in Pocatello.
He was born February 6, 1935, in Oklahoma, to Emyel Grant Ekiss and Sallie Ann Ames Ekiss. He attended schools in Washington state, living there until the 1950's, then moving to Springfield, Idaho, then to Pocatello.
He served as a Private 1st Class in the U. S. Army during the Korean conflict.
He was married October 1, 1971, in Pocatello, Idaho and his wife preceded him in death June, 2003. He owned and operated Ekiss Market in Springfield, Idaho, for many years, and also drove for the railroad until he retired. He was active in many civic organizations.
