Leota DeFord - 07/18/2002 Leota DeFord - 07/18/2002 LEOTA DeFORD IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Alta Leota Neil DeFord, 87, of Idaho Falls, died July 15, 2002, at Life Care Center. She was born July 1, 1915, to Losson Young Neil and Lizzie May Adams Neil, who were both from Missouri. She grew up and attended schools in the Eagle, Idaho area. After her marriage she lived in Denver, Colorado, then Victor and Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting and embroidery. Surviving are:Cousin: Ferne Roberts, Boise, IDCousin: Elden Adams, Payette, IDShe was preceded in death by her husband. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2002, at the Fielding Memorial Park, with Reverend Larry Roberts of the Faith Bible Missionary Church in Boise officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10 to 10:45 a.m. on Monday at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83402-4092.
