LEORA WAGONER IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Leora Killpack Wagoner, 82, of Idaho Falls, died July 5, 2008, at her home of natural causes. She was under the loving care of her daughter-in-law, Phyllis Wagoner. She was born September 4, 1925, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Ellis Killpack and Hazel Elnora Peterson Killpack. She grew up and attended schools in the Osgood area and graduated from Ammon High School. Besides Osgood, she also resided in Woodville, New Sweden, and Idaho Falls. On June 18, 1947, she married Dale Fields Wagoner in Idaho Falls. Together they raised four children; they divorced February 18, 1996. She was a mother and a homemaker. She retired from Mountain Bell with 35 years of service as a telephone operator, and was also employed by the R. T. French Company, which later became Pillsbury. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held various callings over the years in Primary, as a Visiting Teacher, Relief Society Work Director, and also served on the Genealogy Committee. Leora enjoyed crocheting, knitting, quilting, sewing, gardening, traveling, especially on trips with her son in the big truck and going on drives in the mountains; she made many quilts for her family and also donated many handmade quilts and gifts to various hospitals and organizations. Survivors include: Son: Larry (Phyllis) Wagoner of Salt Lake City, UT Daughter: Julie (Vern) Cornwall of Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Christine Newman of Salt Lake City, UT Daughter: Coralie (Richard) Monson of Salt Lake City, UT Sister: Norma Russell of Idaho Falls, ID Sister-in-Law: Theda Killpack of Idaho Falls, ID Sister-in-Law: Grace Killpack of Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Wayne (Joyce) Killpack of Kimball, ID Brother: Garry (Diane) Killpack of Kimball, ID Brother: Dale (Brenda) Killpack of Kimball, ID 16 Grandchildren 19 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Vernal and Martell, a sister-in-law, Carol, and brother-in-law, Kenneth. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 11, 2008, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and Friday from 10 to 10:45 a.m., both at Wood East Side.
