LeOra Moore - 04/04/2003 LeOra Moore - 04/04/2003 LEORA MOORE IDAHO FALLS, ID -- LeOra Harris Moore, 96, of Idaho Falls, died April 4, 2003, at Idaho Falls Care Center. She was born February 19, 1907, at Portage, Utah, to William D. Harris and Zina Elizabeth Gibbs Harris. She grew up and attended schools in the area, graduated from Box Elder High School in Brigham City, Utah. On October 30, 1929, she married Edward Lamont Moore in the Logan LDS Temple. They made their home in Ririe, and then moved to Idaho Falls in 1948. She was a mother & homemaker and worked as a line worker for both Roger Bros. and French's. As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in many callings including Young Women's President, 2nd Counselor in the Relief Society, Sunday School teacher, Primary teacher, Relief Society teacher, Mia Maid teacher, and Sunday School Secretary. She has been a faithful Visiting Teacher since 1935 and has also worked in the name extraction program. Surviving are:Daughter: J'Lene (Jerry) McClure, Idaho Falls, IDSon: Gerald (Sonja) Moore, Preston, IDBrother: William (Marilyn) Harris, Shoshone, IDSister: Ullala Hansen, St. George, UTSister: Evelyn Fuhriman, Tremonton, UTSister: Marjorie Ward, Ogden, UT 7 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers, a sister, a Granddaughter and a Great Granddaughter. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m Wednesday, April 9, 2003, at the Idaho Falls LDS 20th Ward, 651 Gladstone, with Bob Rapp officiating. The family will meet with friends on Tuesday from 7-8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) and for one hour prior to the services at the church.
