Leora Arnold Anderson Bratt, 93, of Ashton, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
She was born March 24, 1919 in Rexburg, Idaho to Elbert “Abb” Arnold and Leora Eva Smith Arnold. Leora grew up in Rexburg where she attended Madison High School and obtained her GED.
On October 17, 1936, she married Carl Spence Anderson in Rexburg. They raised their family in Rexburg. He died on November 22, 1971.
She married Lloyd Bratt on March 24, 1972. Lloyd passed away on April 16, 1997.
Leora worked at Madison High School as their Office Manager and was affectionately known as Mrs. A. She especially loved the many friends and students she met while at the high school.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as Dance Director and Drama Director, and various positions in Relief Society.
Leora enjoyed dancing, golfing, going to the movies, traveling, and family parties. She loved having the grandchildren spend some of their summers with her in Ashton, where they camped and fished on the Snake River. She created and painted beautiful ceramics.

Stepson, Gordon (Melody) Bratt of Rigby, ID;
Stepdaughter, Vera Bratt (Dan) Welch of Erie, CO:
Stepson, Warren (Vicki) Bratt of Arco, ID;
Brother, Dean (Naomi) Arnold of Sugar City, ID;
Brother, Terrell (Margaret) Arnold of Rexburg, ID;
Brother, Gary Arnold of Driggs, ID.
She has 8 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Carl Anderson and Lloyd Bratt; her brother, Keith “Bud” Arnold; and her sister, Carmen Arnold Riley.
Funeral services will begin at 12 Noon Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the Ashton First Ward, 1313 North 3600 East, with Bishop Lynn Ballard officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, and from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. prior to services on Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Annis-Little Butte Cemetery.
