L. REX NIELD
KENNEWICK, WA -- Leonard Rex Nield, 77, died July 26, 2005, in Kennewick, Washington, following a fall at his home.
He was born October 7, 1927, to Orlean and Lenard Nield.
On October 12, 1949, he married Margaret Beverly "Bev" Toone in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He lived in Idaho, California, Montana, and Washington.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a bishop in Missoula, Montana, for eight years.
Survivors include his children, Cathy (Davie) Swensen, Laurie (Blair) Dance, Kenny (Patti) Nield, Les (Mary Lou) Nield, and Tana (Bruce) Pratt; sisters, Renae and Bonnie; and brothers, Steve and Delbert. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly, on July 23, 2005.
Funeral Services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2005, at the Kennewick LDS Olympia Ward, in conjunction with the service for his wife, Bev, who passed away July 23, 2005.
Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2005, in Fielding Memorial Park, Idaho Falls, Idaho, under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to any diabetes treatment center.
