Leona "Grandma Mac" Louise (Petersen) Stuart

Leona “Grandma Mac” Stuart, 90, of Idaho Falls, passed away May 18, 2021, at her home.

Leona was born May 22, 1930, in Declo, Idaho, to Leroy  Petersen and Irene Greener Petersen.  She grew up and attended schools in Declo, ID.

In April of 1948, she married Clyde Doman in Burley, ID. They had five children and later divorced. She was later widowed twice. Leona worked as a school cook for school districts 91 and 25.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She enjoyed reading, and spending time with her family and friends; plus her collection of gnomes and coloring books.

Leona is survived by her daughter, Judy (Robert) Smith of Tooele, UT; daughter, Christine (Gary) Lim of Blackfoot, ID; daughter, Claudia (Todd) Marley of Pocatello, ID; son, Jerry (Kim) Doman of Boise, ID; granddaughter, Heather Doman of Idaho Falls, ID; and sister, Betty Moncur of Rupert, ID.

Grandma Mac had numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She loved them all in her own special way. The only way a grandma could.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Irene Petersen; son, Scott Doman; brothers, Ted and Norman; and one sister, Margret.

Private family services will be held.
