LEON A. DENNING IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Leon Ainsworth Denning, 86, of Idaho Falls, died August 28, 2004, at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls. He was born December 12, 1917 at Iona to John Walter Denning and Eva Caroline Ainsworth Denning. He attended Iona Elementary and Ammon High School. In 1938, he married Marion Flitton. They were later divorced. On August 5, 1944, he married Della Rose Jenson in Dillon, Montana. He worked as a truck and auto mechanic for Western General Dairies. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Through the years, he enjoyed golfing, stock car racing, bowling, reading and camping. Surviving are: Son: Dennis Leon Denning, Phoenix, AZ Son: Neil Stewart, St. Maries, ID Daughter: Sandra Criddle, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Janae (David) Pushard, Butte, MT Daughter: Shirlene (Remes) Stewart, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Steve (Kay Lyn) Denning, Chubbuck, ID Son: Gaylen (Trudy) Denning, Idaho Falls, ID 16 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Della; two sons, Randy Hall and Lewis Denning; a daughter, Rose Colleen Denning; three brothers and a sister. Graveside Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2004, at Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to your favorite charity.
