LEON "DOC" BAILEY
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Leon “Doc” Bailey, 80, of
Idaho Falls, died January 21, 2004, at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical
Center, of natural causes.
He was born August 28, 1923, in Miller, Arkansas, to Julian
Bailey and Pearl Hazelwood Bailey. He attended Post Oak Schools and Greers
Ferry schools, then High School in Heber Springs, Arkansas. He also attended
two years of Business college in Chillicothe, Missouri.
He married Hazel M. Rossback August 28, 1946, in Dillon,
Montana. He worked as a potato buyer, then in road construction as a heavy
equipment operator from 1952 until retirement.
He was a member of the Post Oak Baptist Church, where all
his family had attended. He was also one of the oldest living members of
the Eagles Lodge in Idaho Falls.
He enjoyed sports of all kinds, and enjoyed going to Nevada
to play poker.

Son: Leon K. Bailey, Idaho Falls, ID
5 Nieces and 3 nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Opal B. Stark, and 2
brothers, Oather and Kenneth Bailey.
Funeral Services will be at 12:30 p.m Saturday, January
24, 2004, at the Fielding Memorial Park, , with Pastor Steve Winters of
the Falls Southern Baptist Church officiating.
The family will visit with friends from 11:00 to 12:00
Noon at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue.
Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction
