Len Chapple - 01/24/2002 Len Chapple - 01/24/2002 LEN CHAPPLE Len Chapple, 74, of Idaho Falls, died January 24, 2002, at his home of natural causes. He was born September 17, 1927, at Garfield, to William Chapple and Mary Williams Chapple. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II. He married Iris Jeanette Fisher June 4, 1954, at Elko, Nevada. He drove truck and retired in 1994 after 39 years with H & K Contractors. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge. Surviving are:Wife: Iris Chapple, Idaho Falls, IDSon: Kent [Linda] Chapple, Idaho FallsDaughter: Lori Chapple, Phoenix, AZDaughter: Debbie [Stu] Eddins, Idaho FallsSon: Larry [Joyce] Haws, Idaho Falls 15 Grandchildren, 5 Great GrandchildrenHe was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Greg Haws, a grandson, Shawn Haws, two brothers, and three sisters. Graveside Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2002, at the Ucon Cemetery, with his son, Larry Haws, officiating. The family will visit with friends on Monday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ucon Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83402-4092.
