Leland A. Moore - 08/05/2002 Leland A. Moore - 08/05/2002 LELAND A. MOORE Leland Alonson Moore, 64, of Idaho Falls, died August 3, 2002, at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born February 25, 1938 in Brigham City, Utah to Lelan Austin Moore and Luella Bronson Moore. He grew up in the Brigham City and Ogden areas, attending the Ogden School for the Deaf and Blind. He married Elaine Foote and they were later divorced. He moved to Idaho Falls 25 years ago, and worked as a house painter, for Common’s Poultry, in the potato processing industry and as a dishwasher for LeBaron's Restaurant,. He took part in bowling and many other activities within the deaf community and enjoyed spending time with his niece, LuAnne Smith, and nephews, Jeffrey, Larry and DanMattern. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Surviving are:Sister: Mildred (Elmer) Mattern, Ammon, IDHe was preceded in death by his parents, aunts and uncles. Funeral Services will be at 3 p.m., Thursday, August 8, 2002, at Wood Chapel of the Pines. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to services on Thursday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge, Idaho Falls. Burial will be in the St. Anthony Riverside Cemetery at a later date.
