Leland Kenneth Keller, 72, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 15, 2021, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center from complications related to COVID-19.
Leland was born April 08, 1948, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Roy James Keller and June Etta (Fredinburg) Keller. Leland was the youngest and only son of three children, Gloria Ann Keller (sister) and Dorothy Lou (Keller) Behunin (sister). He attended schools in Idaho Falls, Idaho and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. He was called to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints in the Gulf States Mission. He later worked in the automobile industry for his father’s business, Roy J. Keller Inc., in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He later started his own business, “Keller’s Moving Photography”, where he filmed weddings in the new age of video.
He went on to marry Janel Edwina (Crowley) Keller, on November 15, 1969, in the Idaho Falls temple. They were blessed with two sons, James C. Keller and Scott D. Keller. Leland loved the outdoors and especially fishing, where he would invent his own fly patterns to “catch the big one.” He was also an avid photographer.
Leland is survived by his loving wife, Janel Edwina Keller of Idaho Falls, ID, children, James Keller(Boise), Scott Keller (Idaho Falls), grandchildren, Cody Keller & Garrett Keller (Idaho Falls), and sister, Dorothy Lou (Keller) Behunin (Idaho Falls).
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and Gloria Ann Keller (sister).
