LEATHA M. HOLM IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Leatha May Schofield Holm, 96, of Idaho Falls, died June 7, 2005, at the Parkwood Meadows Assisted Living. She was born May 15, 1909, in South Hooper, Utah to Joseph and Ellison Simpson Schofield. The family moved to Idaho Falls, where she attended school. On August 10, 1929, she married Arthur Carl Holm in Idaho Falls. Their marriage was later solemnized on September 19, 1947, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings, including Primary Teacher, Counselor in the Relief Society Presidency, Visiting Teacher and worked in the Family History Name Extraction Program. She enjoyed gardening and fishing. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker and loved spending time with her family. Surviving are: Daughter: Shirley (Bill) LeFevre, Salt Lake City, UT Son: Joseph (Joan) Holm, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Robert (Jo Linda) Holm, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Paul (Ronda) Holm, Boise, ID Daughter-in-law: Jackie (Charles) Bateman, Idaho Falls, ID 21 Grandchildren and 45 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; a son, David Holm; a daughter-in-law, Nina Holm; three brothers, a sister, a granddaughter, Sharon LeFevre; and a great granddaughter, Madison Holm. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at the Idaho Falls LDS 18th Ward (1200 Dunbar), with Bishop Frank Johnston officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) and Tuesday for one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
