Leatha Prince Hall, 80, of Ammon, Idaho, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Leatha was born May 27, 1932, in Gooding, Idaho, to David Leonard Prince and Ethel Sproul Prince. She attended school in Gooding before studying nursing at St. Lukes Hospital in Boise. Leatha worked as a Registered Nurse at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in PACU. On December 22, 1953, she married Ira Kimball Hall Jr. in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They were blessed with six children, Kim, Bruce, Stephen, Michelle, Garth, and Doug. Leatha and Ira have lived in Ammon for forty years. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served as a scribe for her husband, the Stake Patriarch, and was very involved in compassionate service in the Relief Society. She was also a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Leatha enjoyed sewing and equestrian trail riding. She especially loved spending time with her family. Leatha is survived by her loving husband nearly 60 years, Ira Kimball Hall; Son: Kim C Hall of Stockton, CA; Son: Bruce L. (Katie) Hall of Newhall, CA; Son: Stephen Prince (Sharon) Hall of Pullman, WA; Daughter: Michelle (Mark) Peterson of Phoenix, AZ; Son: Garth Thayne (Diane) Hall of Idaho Falls, ID; Brother: Ronald Prince of Provo, UT; Sister: Carleen Egersdorf of Gooding, ID; Sister: Zona Harkins of Victor, ID; 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Lewis Hall, four sisters, and two brothers. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at the Ammon LDS Stake Center (2055 S. Ammon Road), Ammon, Idaho, with Bishop Allen Lundeen of the Ammon LDS 8th Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday, March 15, 2013 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side (963 S. Ammon Road), and Saturday from 10:00 am to 10:45 a.m. at the church, prior to services. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
