Leah Mary Morgan Tracy, 88, of Idaho Falls, passed away November 7, 2017, at MorningStar Senior Living Center.

Leah was born on October 11, 1929, in Clark, Idaho, to Kenneth Morgan and Mary LaRosa Finn Morgan. She grew up in Rigby on her dad’s dairy farm. She attended schools there and graduated from Rigby High School.

On June 24, 1949, she married Richard Robert Tracy in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. To this union were born six children, Patricia, Sandra, Julie, Rick, Robb and Cody. Leah and Richard made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Leah was a long time employee for the City of Idaho Falls and School District 91 where she worked as a secretary.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served many years in the Primary and Young Women’s. She loved dancing and roller skating in her younger years. She met her husband at the Ashton Dog Sled Races. She loved shopping, traveling, camping, the outdoors and holding babies. A great joy of her life was spending time with her grand and great grandchildren. Her all-time favorite activity was camping in Island Park.

Leah is survived by her daughter, Patricia Jo (Steve) Huff of Lehi, UT; daughter, Sandy (Joseph) Marsden of Rexburg, ID; daughter, Julie (Kim) Marshall of Idaho Falls, ID;son, Richard "Rick" Kenneth (Kelly) Tracy of Boise, ID; son, Robb Hal (Kimberly) Tracy of Santaquin, UT; son, Cody Brett (Heidi) Tracy of Syracuse, UT; sister, Margie (Derrald) Waters of St. George, UT; brother, James "Jim" (Josie) Morgan of Waddell, AZ; brother, Morris (Sherri) Morgan of Ririe, ID; sister, Judy Jeppesen of Boise, ID; and sister, LaVina (Michael) Caverhill, Omaha, NE; and 28 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Robert Tracy, father, Kenneth Morgan, mother, Mary LaRosa Finn Morgan, brother Kenneth Wayne Morgan and one great granddaughter.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2017, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, with Bishop Nate Hunsaker of the Stonehaven Ward, officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery in Rigby.
