LaWANA WHITE Click here to view a video of LaWana's life IDAHO FALLS, ID -- LaWana Joy Davis White, 75, of Idaho Falls, died May 23, 2008, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born November 12, 1932, in St. Anthony, Idaho, to Wayne D. Davis and Myrtle Agnes Potter Davis. She grew up and attended schools in the area and graduated from South Fremont High School. On October 13, 1948, she married Jay E. White in Coulie City, Washington. Their marriage was solemnized February 21, 1964, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She was a mother and a homemaker and has five children. She lived in Chester for 16 years and Idaho Falls for 59 years She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. LaWana enjoyed music, camping, geneology, quilting, and reading. Survivors include: Husband: Jay White, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Drake D. (Joanie) White, Pahrump, NV Daughter: Terri Lyn Bergeson, Rexburg, ID Son: Brett J. (Jeriann) White, Blackfoot, ID Brother: Wayne C. (DeLois) Davis, Rigby, ID 12 Grandchildren & 14 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Randy; a daughter, Sherri Lyn; and a grandson, Jay Bergeson. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at the Iona LDS 8th Ward, 5169 East Denning Avenue, Iona, with Bishop Robert P. Nield officiating.
