LAVON PALMER
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- LaVon Palmer, 93, of Idaho Falls, died April 21, 2007, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of causes incident to age.
She was born July 11, 1913, in Rigby, Idaho, to Gilbert L. Johnson and Edith Pearl Priest Johnson. She grew up and attended schools in Rigby.
She married Burton Vell Diamond December 7, 1929, in Rigby, Idaho. They made their home in Idaho Falls and were later divorced. She worked as Head of Central Services at Sacred Heart Hospital in Idaho Falls.
She married Dr. Fred Porter and he preceded her in death. She married Jerry Palmer and he preceded her in death.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, travel, and quilting.

3 Grandchildren & 10 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, three brothers, Donald Johnson, Lamar Johnson, Lyle (Donna) Johnson, and a sister, Doris King.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, with her son, Bishop Al Diamond, officiating. The family will visit with friends Tuesday for one hour prior to the services at Wood Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
