Laurell Reed Croft 82, of Ririe, passed away October 27, 2013, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Laurell was born October 14, 1931, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to William Jennings Reed and Esther Sophia Browning Reed. She attended Antelope Elementary, Ririe High School and Ricks College, where she earned her Teaching Certificate.
On March 6, 1953, Laurell married David Harding Croft in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. From this union they were blessed with seven children. David passed away March 25, 1998.
Laurell was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various capacities including, Relief Society, Young Womens, Special Needs Primary and as a volunteer in the cafeteria in the Idaho Falls Temple. In 1993 Laurell and her husband David served a full-time mission in Brisbane, Australia. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and going for drives with her siblings. Her greatest joy was her family and she loved spending time with them.

Son, Jestin D. (Barbara) Croft of Idaho Falls, ID;
Son, William H. (Laurie) Croft of Idaho Falls, ID;
Son, John Wyatt (Shauna) Croft American Falls, ID;
Daughter, Lorraine (Daniel) Scholes of Hyrum, UT;
Brother, Jerry (Connie) Reed of Ririe, ID;
29 Grandchildren and 41 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters and two brothers.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 2, 2013, at the Idaho Falls LDS Coltman 1st Ward, 12448 North 5th East, with Bishop Blair Sautter officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6:30-8 p.m. Friday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, and for one hour prior to the services Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to the doctors and nursing staff in the ICU at EIRMC for their kindness and great care.
