L. MARGARET VANCE
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Laura Margaret Lead Vance, 65, of
Idaho Falls, died October 20, 2004, at her home.
She was born August 13, 1939, at Longview, Washington,
to Carl Jacob Levi Lead and Leona Marian Garrison Lead. She attended schools
in the area and graduated from Hudsons Bay High School. She majored in
Elementary Education at Brigham Young University, following which she
taught elementary school for 2 years.
On March 14, 1964, she married Howard “Pete”
Everett Vance in the Manti Utah LDS Temple. She was a wife, mother and
homemaker. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints. She enjoyed cooking, reading, needlepoint, and being with her
grandchildren. Margaret’s cheerful personality was infectious.

Daughter: Jennifer (Von) Crofts, Idaho Falls, ID
Son: Michael (Haleigh) Vance, Waldorf, MD
Mother: Leona Lead, Idaho Falls, ID
35 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral Services will be at 12 noon Friday, October
22, 2004, at the Ammon LDS Stake Center (2055 S. Ammon Rd.) with Bishop
Scott Hall of the Ammon LDS 8th Ward officiating.
The family will meet with friends for one hour prior
to the services at the church.
Burial will be in Ammon Cemetery under the direction
of Wood Funeral Home East Side, Idaho Falls, Idaho.
