Click Here To View Memorial Video Laura Elizabeth TeNgaio, 47, of Idaho Falls, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 1, 2015. Laura was born Nov. 18, 1967 in Kahuku, HI to Tyrone and Mary TeNgaio. She was the 3rd oldest of five siblings. She graduated from Kaiser High School in Hawaii Kai in 1985. She was involved in track and field during those years. She had a great close knit group of girlfriends in junior high and high school that her sister Tanya said made up “the cool-cute-smart-girls-that-were-not-stuck-up” cliq! She attended The University of Hawaii for 2 1/2 years. She moved from Hawaii to Idaho Falls, ID in 1989 and attended Idaho State University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting in 1995. Laura married Damon Clifford in May 1991. Laura and Damon welcomed their beautiful daughter, Autumn, into the world February 14, 2001. She was their heart baby. Damon and Laura eventually divorced, yet still remained friends. Autumn was the love of Laura’s life, her spark of joy. She thrived on being a mother and she enveloped Autumn with love and guidance. One of their memorable activities occurred every summer when Laura would take Autumn to the Sho-Ban Festival to educate her daughter about Autumn's heritage. Among the many activities that Laura participated in, she really enjoyed golfing with her sister and many friends. She was involved in the Working Women's golf League for over 8 years. She also enjoyed soaking up the sun and surf while time was spent in Hawaii. She was fond of "talking story" to relatives, especially her grandmother Millie. Laura loved to listen to her Nanny Millie talk about the days of old growing up in New Zealand and of other family members. With an infectious laugh and a witty smile, Laura found a place in everyone’s heart that she met. Laura was preceded in death by her older brother Kenneth TeNgaio, mother Mary TeNgaio, and grandparents Pat & Ruby Whittington and Joseph & Millie TeNgaio. A memorial service will be held at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls, ID 83402, Monday, January 12, 2015 from 6 – 7:30 p.m.
