Lawrence DeLane “Larry” Parry, 90, of Idaho Falls, passed away May 12, 2026, at his home. He was under the care of Brio Home Health and Hospice.
Larry was born February 8, 1936, in Roosevelt, Utah, to Melvin LeRoy Parry and Phoebe Hullinger Parry. He grew up and attended schools in Roosevelt, and attended Union High School. He went on to join the United States Air Force in 1956.
On October 10, 1959, he married Patricia "Pat" Ruth Mayhew in Hibbing, Minnesota. Larry and Pat made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Lawrence worked as an Air Traffic Controler for the FAA.
He was a new member of the Catholic Church. He enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, and playing bingo.
Lawrence is survived by his wife, Pat Parry of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Joan Marie (Roy) Barney of Chubbuck, ID; daughter, Lisa Ann Parry of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Debra Elaine (Kevin) Acres of West Hills, CA; son, Robert Anthony (Mailam) Parry; brother, Bruce Wayne (Pat) Parry of Vernal, UT; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Phoebe Parry; brothers, Melvon Parry, James Delos Parry, and Jerry Allen Parry; and sister, Phoebe Arlene Calder.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 22, 2026, at Christ the King, 1690 E. 17th. A Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, with a visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. Inurnment will be in the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Blackfoot where Military Honors will be held.
