Larry K. Lounsbury - 01/22/2002 Larry K. Lounsbury - 01/22/2002 LARRY K. LOUNSBURY IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Larry K. Lounsbury, 53, of Idaho Falls, died January 21, 2002, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of cancer. He was born December 26, 1948, at Rigby, to Ralph W. Lounsbury and Rhea Mae Kinghorn Lounsbury. He grew up in Hamer and attended Hamer Elementary and West Jefferson High School. He also attended Eastern Idaho Vocational Technical School in Idaho Falls. He served in the U. S. Army National Guard during the Vietnam War. He then lived in Sugar City for two years before coming to Idaho Falls, where he has lived ever since. He married Mary Ellen Ottesen March 16, 1971, at Sugar City, Idaho. They had three children and were later divorced. He married Patsy Barnes March 19, 1993, in Rigby. He worked in computer operations at the INEEL. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and was a member of the Eagles Lodge. He was actively involved in the AA program. He enjoyed camping, riding his four-wheeler, old sports cars like Camaro, Corvette, etc., and his computer. Surviving are:Wife: Pat Lounsbury, Idaho FallsDaughter: Sarah K. Lounsbury. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2002, at the Idaho Falls LDS 16th Ward, 885 South Boulevard, with Bishop Phillip R. Roberts officiating. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, and for one hour prior to the services on Friday at the church. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83402-4092.
