Larry Edwin Krueger, 66, of Swan Valley, passed away August 18, 2016, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center following a car accident.
Larry was born November 14, 1949, in Nampa, Idaho, to George E. Krueger and Ruth Cox Krueger. He grew up on farms in Kuna and Marsing, Idaho. He also enjoyed the oceans of California, and graduated from Morro Bay High School.
On January 30, 1988, he married Mary Burke in Carson City, Nevada, where he worked and owned a construction company. He was the father of four children, Lisa, Amy, and Garrett from a previous marriage, and Caitlin with his wife Mary.
He was a talented craftsman who built beautiful homes. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix. He battled cancer and other health issues for the last six years.
Larry and Mary made their home in Swan Valley, Idaho, where they enjoyed the peace and beauty of the valley.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Mary Krueger of Swan Valley, ID; daughter, Caitlin (Dwight) Long of Denver, CO; son, Garrett (Katie) Krueger of Carson City, NV; daughter, Lisa Krueger of San Luis Obispo, CA; daughter, Amy Krueger of Santa Maria, CA; mother, Ruth Krueger of Cayucos, CA; sister, Connie Mitchell of Cayucos, CA; sister, Dennie Hawkins of Eagle, ID; and 3 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, George E Krueger, sister, Beverly Hartnell.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Camp Magical Moments, a cancer camp for kids in Swan Valley, Idaho.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at Chapel in the Valley, 3263 US Highway 26, with Pastor Laura Baarda officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church.
