Dear Lori and family,
I was so sad to learn of Larry's passing this morning in the paper.
The last time we spoke on the phone, he seemed so happy to be in your new home and close to your kids. He did mention that his sight was giving him trouble, but over all he was doing well.
I want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers and you have our deepest condolences at this difficult time.
Larry was the kind of childhood friend that happily continued on into adulthood and one I knew I could always count on.
That doesn't happen very often and I am grateful to have known him and associated with him throughout my life.
Whenever I think of him, a smile always comes to my face.
Kathie and I and our family once again, send our deepest love and sympathy to you and all of Larry's family and encourage you to remember that he will have everything all done and ready for you when you all join him as a family in heaven.
Jeff & Kathie Cotterell & family.

We moved to Nampa from Idaho Falls when I was 14. Larry and Richard Chadwick became my very best friends. We three were in many ways the oddest of companions, perhaps complete opposites, yet our friendships have been (in my heart) everlasting. Larry talked me into buying my first motorcycle -- he on his Yamaha and me on my Honda rode all over the country.
We fished all over southwest Idaho with poles and packs strapped to the back of those motorcycles. At my mother's request Larry was oft times invited to our home (as long as he brought his guitar) to play his beautiful music. In my mind's eye I still can see his larger than life grin, rythmic nodding of his head, and closed eyes playing his beautiful twelve string. I recall countless hunting expeditions of our walking drain ditches, sitting in blinds, setting decoys and laughing so loud as to scare off any would be duck or goose. I think of the souped up cars that he seemed to always have and my marvelings of how he just always "knew" how to fix them or anything for that matter. The numerous times of floating Indian river in Kuna. Larry was a very hard worker. Sacking groceries at the local store. I believe the legal age was 16 to work at such a place -- he, of course, was only 14. He inspired me to do the same. So I went to Buttrey's store to apply and got the job as a boxboy, I remember the panic of getting my birthyear right on the application so as to be 16. Larry stopped by our home in Alpine four years ago with an invention that he was trying to distribute. He joined us for dinner. It was a memorable evening. Thank-you Larry for blessing my life.
God be with you Lori.

Lori and Family,
My mind has been flooded with fond memories of good times we shared when our children were small. In Nampa and through the years, Larry was always there to lend a helping hand, and full of a million ideas. I've always thought of him as one of the most gifted people I know. He could do anything he set his mind to. He had a generous heart. We are thankful for your friendship. I won't be able to make the funeral with Doug, but please know that I will have you in my prayers today and in the days to come.
