Larry Cole

Larry Lee Cole, 73, of Idaho Falls passed away January 27, 2011 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Larry was born May 7, 1937 in Mason City, Nebraska to Floyd Cole and Neva Woolsey Cole. His birth father passed away when Larry was two years old and his mother remarried Floyd Pete Mortensen, who helped raise Larry. On July 7, 1954 he married Naomi Jane Goldsberry in Idaho Falls. Together they raised three children. Larry was involved with the Veterans Motor Car Club of America (VMCCA) and the Studebaker Drivers Club. Larry worked in the Automotive industry in auto body repair and restoration. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, and riding motorcycles. He loved the outdoors and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife: Naomi of Idaho Falls; daughter: Carol Jane (Raymond) Landcaster of Illinois; Son: Roy (Ruth Anne)Cole of Idaho Falls; daughter: Shari Marie Cole of California; mother: Neva Mortensen; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Floyd Cole and his step-father, Floyd Mortensen.

Funeral Services -- Wednesday

Wednesday February 2, 2011 , 11:00 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist

The family will visit with friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening at Wood Funeral Home (273 North Ridge Avenue) and one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
