Biography

Larry Dean Brown, 56, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 5, 2011, at his home of natural causes. Larry was born June 23, 1954, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Joseph Dale Brown and Joy Ann West Brown. He grew up in Idaho Falls and graduated from Skyline High School. He also attended Boise State, where he took his training as a welder. Larry was a journeyman welder and worked as a Sales Associate for Walmart for six years. Larry was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed fishing and camping at Henry’s Lake in Island Park. Larry is survived by his loving sister, Pamm Taylor of Idaho Falls and his niece, Lindsey Drake of Bozeman, Montana. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Robin Brown and Gary Allen Brown. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave., with Bishop Bryan Larson of the Idaho Falls LDS Mill Run Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends at the cemetery prior to services from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m.
