Larry Duane Bazzell

Larry Duane Bazzell, 75, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 23, 2020, at his home surrounded by his family.

Larry was born April 20, 1945, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Lynn Ward Stevens and Annie Viola McElroy Stevens. He graduated from Pueblo High School. After high school, Larry joined the US Air Force and served during the Vietnam War.

On December 21, 1968, he married Kathryn Eileen Barlow in Exeter, California. They were later sealed in the Oakland Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Larry and Kathryn spent most of their marriage traveling through Europe and the Middle East as Larry worked as a Maintenance Scheduling Technician for the US Air Force.

Larry enjoyed golfing, painting, writing, John Wayne movies, Ireland, and most of all, his children and grandchildren.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Kathryn Eileen Bazzell; daughter, Shannon Christine (Jon) Fink; son, Sean Paul (Julianne) Bazzell; son, Aaron Scott (Tamara) Bazzell; daughter, Ashley Eileen (Jason) Yarrington; son, Morgan James (Julie) Bazzell; daughter, Megan Ann (Bryson) Hendricks; daughter, Carrie Lynn (Bron) Spencer; daughter, Katie Marie (Gregory) Fielding; 36 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, private family services will be held.

Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and Idaho Honor Guard.
